Vote! John Flynn
for Kalama City Council, Position 4

John envisions the City Council promoting clean, sustainable jobs while maintaining our small town atmosphere and quality of life.

“I believe that I can contribute to a positive change and future for Kalama.
I see Kalama’s future as a place where people would want to raise
their families, visit, and recreate."
~John Flynn

John and his wife, Teresa, retired to Kalama as an ideal location to spend their “golden years”. The small town atmosphere, livability, and access to the Columbia River and its fishing were all critical in their decision. Working to protect that quality of life for all in Kalama, John and Teresa are active in the No Methanol and Clean Air Kalama campaigns. Read more About John Flynn.

John Flynn in the news: All three candidates running for City Council position 4 interviewed in Longview's The Daily News 7/17.

“I firmly believe that the voices of the people should be listened to and followed to the best of the ability of the council,” Flynn said. “I think I’m capable of being a fair and impartial listener, and I would try to base any decisions or policy changes on the best available evidence and information.”

5/23 The campaign is off and running. John is one of three candidates running for Kalama City Council Position 4 along with Steve Kallio and incumbent Rosemary Siipola. Get to know John, you'll want to support him. He is the change we need in Council. City Council is a nonpartisan position, but John describes himself as a moderately conservative Democrat.
